2 weeks ago, Doug gave a month’s notice at his job.
6 weeks ago he received a call that changed the trajectory of our lives once again, a new career opportunity.
It’s weird how life turns out, for us, it’s been split between two states CO & MN. In June, our little family will converge on CO once again.
It’s all very bittersweet. The days now pass with moments of excitement for the future and moments of sadness for that which we will miss.
It’s an incredible opportunity and we are filled with gratitude for this experience. Change of this nature is good, attachment to life and the plans you think you have made leads to rigidity and closing doors to opportunity.
We are being challenged and I love it (most of the time). I’ll be honest many tears are being shed for many different reasons but in the end, I choose to believe it’s always all good.
Westward we go!
